MPEG4 Direct Maker Editor's Review

Although this application is supposed to convert video files to MPEG4, it supports almost any video format and converts in almost anything. You can easily navigate through the features of the application but the only bad thing is that it has not a unique window interface. For every module of the application it will open a new window. Considering how many features it consists of, you will be surprised how little resources it uses.
Mpeg4 direct maker has 8 major modules that can be selected from the functions menu:
1. VCD/AVI/MPEG/WMV/ASF/VOB
2. DVD player
3. DVD Converter
4. MOV/QT/MP4/3GP
5. Advanced DVD Converter
6. RealVideo Converter
7. Advanced DVD Converter (New Mode)
8. Batch Converter (from here you can control almost any conversion)

Pluses: good quality image conversion from DVD to DIVX; easy to use; it supports all the important video formats

Drawbacks / flaws: 8 windows for 8 modules. I may get difficult to use, since it's not an unitary interface.

In conclusion: This software is a beautiful toy for somebody that wants to convert video files.
